Having looked forward to a seafood boil for a long time and seen the fabulous posts and reviews of Fish Low Fell decided to try. A lovely birthday treat from my friend, and we both thoroughly enjoyed. We went fully loaded and plenty for 2 to enjoy. Delightful, get yourselves along! Wide ranging menu with plenty of other choices that sounded good too.

Decided on the sharing platter, and I was not disappointed, pure joy eating this, I only added the king prawns to it, but wish I had added more, like the crab or lobster and maybe even some tapas to start with, but I will next time for sure. The "special" sauce it comes in is SPECIAL, I could have just drank a pint of it. Everything was cooked perfectly, and the man who cooked/served us (I forgot his name) chatted to us about the place and the food they serve, etc. Nice of him to take the time for us 👍

The oysters were amazing, served with a beautiful homemade asian soy blend and the mussels were huge. Next time I’m going to try more of the tapas plates and the lobster and fries.
I’d say the addition of crab flakes to make “dirty” fries didn’t add much. The fries were good though, so I would try the other two options. They do specials depending on the catch and there is an impressive selection of hot sauce too.More reviews+12
My bezzie and I visited today. We had amazing tapas. Calamari, mini fish and chips, tempura prawns, salmon dirty fries. I also had Lindisfarne oysters. The food was amazing, and the chef was great. We had a lovely chat ,and the man helping him was great. Highly recommended, but please make a reservation to avoid being disappointed.
First time Ive visited fish Saturday 11th January and won't be the last ,knowledge of Kelly and Ian was second to none fantastic service. I purchased the escalopes and prawns and wow delicious 😋. 5 stars to fish and there team. #will be back
Cannot rate this place enough. We travelled up to fish from Wigan and we can honestly say it was well worth the miles. The sea food boil was out of this world. The chef there really knows her stuff. Absolutely amazing place
So happy to have fresh fish around! They are delicious and the prepared dishes you can get as well are lovely and very tasty. Very nice seafood platters you can order as well!!! Treated ourselves to one 😋
Just popped in as I was parked nearby and picked up a monkfish curry to take home and it was beautiful. I’m gonna go back and try a seafood boil. What a gem.
Been many times. The staff are friendly and tge food is delicious. You can even get a wine or a beer.

The only thing I was abit dubious about was the sausage, if it had been proper pork sausage rather than hot dogs, it would have blown me away completely but I will be back nevertheless. Definitely worth the 3 hour drive ❤️Such a hidden gem! Unreal food and great service. The people are friendly and chatty. What a find - dont miss it!

Lobster is beautiful tasting! 🤤🦞 Well done to the owners of this new seafood shop! It's about time we had a really good one in Gateshead. I need a few things from there soon.
